Alidade Assessment Platform

Replaced Qualtrics, Stata, and a contract report analyst with one AI-native research platform. Dr. Todd Hall's lab now runs surveys and generates reports for a pipeline including Colorado Christian University (~1,800 students) and Fellowship of Christian Athletes (3,000 staff), with Claude integrated through MCP and outperforming the platform's own report engine.

The Problem

Dr. Todd Hall's research lab was paying a five-figure annual bill for Qualtrics, exporting data to Stata for cleaning, then paying a contract analyst to build static PDF reports. Open-response qualitative analysis took 2–3 weeks per cohort. Every new enterprise prospect exposed gaps Qualtrics couldn't fill: subgroup filtering, custom benchmarking, HIPAA/FERPA commitments. Todd needed a platform he owned, not a vendor he rented.

The Solution

We built Alidade, a custom Angular + Oracle/KASKAD platform that matches Qualtrics feature-for-feature (display logic, branch logic, matrix questions, NPS, anonymous + email distributions) on a hierarchical Enterprise → Organization → Group → Team data model. Then we went further: an MCP connector exposes surveys, templates, and distributions to Claude, so AI queries validated server calculations and generates interactive HTML reports that now outperform the native engine. Open-response analysis dropped from 2–3 weeks to 2–3 days.

The MCP is a huge leap forward to have AI built in with a chatbot. I was thinking that would be a way later stage. So that’s a big value.

Solas Mind

Consolidated five fragile tools (Webflow + Directus + Google Sheets + Airtable + Acuity) into one operations backend for web and mobile delivery. The new platform reduced human error and back-and-forth from updating multiple systems, while Sarah McCaffrey's team now runs branded wellbeing hubs for major film and streaming productions. After stabilization, the team also sealed four new sales in one week.

The Problem

SolasMind ran on Webflow + Directus + Google Sheets + Airtable + Acuity — five tools stitched together by different developers over years, held together with duct tape. Daily syncs broke. Practitioner changes didn't reflect in the app. Every new production meant manual duplication. The Directus backend couldn't support the role permissions, HIPAA-grade data handling, or usage reporting enterprise contracts required. Sarah was spending her time managing tools instead of growing the business.

The Solution

We built one unified platform: a NestJS + Next.js monorepo on PostgreSQL, multi-tenant corporate hubs with per-client branded login (/corporate/{slug}/login), and a Flutter mobile app released as 'Solas Support' to sidestep a US trademark collision. QR-based deep-link onboarding goes on printed posters at productions. Acuity stays as the booking integration, synced through event-driven webhooks, because it does that job well. Everything else flows through the new system: privacy-first data handling for enterprise clients, daily database backups, and AWS hosting. The platform has been live in production since mid-2026.

Western Europe B2B Marketplace

One Upwork admin-panel task became a 2-engineer dedicated team, two C-suite referrals, an in-person Vienna meeting, and a named Austria reference. The CTO asked for more capacity two weeks in.

The Problem

The client was a pre-revenue Vienna coworking startup preparing for legal-entity launch and an investment round, with no in-house engineering capacity for the internal tools they needed next. The first Upwork brief was small and concrete: a Stripe-billed admin panel on React + Refine, backed by Supabase. The real test was whether anyone outside the founding team could be trusted with business logic without being babysat. CTOs do not expand from one task to a dedicated team unless the first task proves judgment.

The Solution

Inside nine days, before any SOW existed, Gerald S, the CTO and co-founder, wrote: "good know that you have some experts. Infrastructure stuff isnt my strength." From there the engagement compounded. We embedded a dedicated team across two client-owned products: the core booking platform (Next.js, Express, Supabase, Stripe, React + Refine admin) and a second portfolio product (Fastify, Supabase, Next.js). Our engineers owned three wins that were never on the original brief. They shipped Stripe end-to-end. They proposed Sentry across web and API, which surfaced a Google Maps render loop driving budget overrun. They designed a guest-user search funnel that doubles as an acquisition channel for new office supply. Direct CTO access, weekly working calls, and engineer-authored API and frontend docs kept business logic and code in the same conversation.

SEFICO Packing

We became a packaging manufacturer's entire web team, from moodboard to deployment: positioning, sitemap, four-language copy, design, AI product photography, build, and hosting. We moved them off a pricey Wix setup onto our own server at a third of the cost and shipped a live site that sells to buyers, not chemists.

The Problem

SEFICO had relocated production from Ukraine to Poland and was chasing European buyers, but it had no in-house design, development, or marketing, no brandbook, and a dated, expensive Wix site. On top of that, the whole category sells on extruders, polymers, and lab specs, none of which means anything to the meat or cheese producer who just needs his product packed and sold. They did not need one more freelancer. They needed someone to take the whole thing off their plate.

The Solution

We ran the entire lifecycle as their outsourced web team. Strategy and positioning first: "packaging experts for meat and cheese producers," not a polymer vendor, with minimal text, hard numbers, and no price on the page (a premium signal for German and Italian buyers). Then sitemap and structure, copy in four languages (English, Italian, Ukrainian, Spanish) written together with the client, full design with logo variants, and AI-generated product photography to replace the imagery they never had. We built it on Next.js + Tailwind, then handled the migration ourselves: off Wix and onto our own server, with the domain and email transfer run for them and Google Analytics wired in. The new hosting runs at one-third of the old Wix Premium cost, a 66% cut, and includes unlimited branded mailboxes like finance@ and legal@.

I like the lightness of this site and the absence of clutter, so I don't have to work out for myself which information is the priority and which is not.

Spiritual Metrics + Relational Spirituality

Two Webflow sites moved to a Next.js stack Dr. Todd Hall owns, live in eight weeks with every kept URL preserved, now edited by talking to Claude with each change reviewed.

The Problem

Dr. Todd Hall ran two brands on two Webflow sites, with roughly 20 legacy domains accumulated over the years, and he never edited his own sites. Every change went through an assistant or waited. A manual campaign-page swap was once forgotten mid-campaign, leaving a live error during a launch, and payments for individual reports ran through a Wufoo form with a resharable, non-secure link.

The Solution

We rebuilt both sites on Next.js with Sanity as the CMS, deployed on Vercel and unified under one design system, scoped June 17 and live in production by mid-August. Pages that stayed kept byte-identical URLs, everything else got a purposeful 301, and the legacy domains were consolidated into clean redirects. Stripe replaced the insecure payment form and killed a $50 a month tool fee, ActiveCampaign automations were migrated and verified end to end, and campaign pages now flip between waitlist, early-bird and regular states on pre-entered dates. That automation has already run unattended twice in production. Post-launch, Todd edits by talking to Claude: the agent opens a pull request, our developer reviews it for SEO, design and correctness, and only then does it merge. Nothing goes live unreviewed.
