Alidade Assessment Platform

Replaced Qualtrics, Stata, and a contract report analyst with one AI-native research platform. Dr. Todd Hall's lab now runs surveys and generates reports for a pipeline including Colorado Christian University (~1,800 students) and Fellowship of Christian Athletes (3,000 staff), with Claude integrated through MCP and outperforming the platform's own report engine.

The Problem

Dr. Todd Hall's research lab was paying a five-figure annual bill for Qualtrics, exporting data to Stata for cleaning, then paying a contract analyst to build static PDF reports. Open-response qualitative analysis took 2–3 weeks per cohort. Every new enterprise prospect exposed gaps Qualtrics couldn't fill: subgroup filtering, custom benchmarking, HIPAA/FERPA commitments. Todd needed a platform he owned, not a vendor he rented.

The Solution

We built Alidade, a custom Angular + Oracle/KASKAD platform that matches Qualtrics feature-for-feature (display logic, branch logic, matrix questions, NPS, anonymous + email distributions) on a hierarchical Enterprise → Organization → Group → Team data model. Then we went further: an MCP connector exposes surveys, templates, and distributions to Claude, so AI queries validated server calculations and generates interactive HTML reports that now outperform the native engine. Open-response analysis dropped from 2–3 weeks to 2–3 days.

AI built in

The MCP is a huge leap forward to have AI built in with a chatbot. I was thinking that would be a way later stage. So that’s a big value.

Mental HealthEnterpriseMobile + Web

Solas Mind

Consolidated five fragile tools (Webflow + Directus + Google Sheets + Airtable + Acuity) into one operations backend for web and mobile delivery. The new platform reduced human error and back-and-forth from updating multiple systems, while Sarah McCaffrey's team now runs branded wellbeing hubs for major film and streaming productions. After stabilization, the team also sealed four new sales in one week.

The Problem

SolasMind ran on Webflow + Directus + Google Sheets + Airtable + Acuity — five tools stitched together by different developers over years, held together with duct tape. Daily syncs broke. Practitioner changes didn't reflect in the app. Every new production meant manual duplication. The Directus backend couldn't support the role permissions, HIPAA-grade data handling, or usage reporting enterprise contracts required. Sarah was spending her time managing tools instead of growing the business.

The Solution

We built one unified platform: Java/Spring Boot + MongoDB backend, React/Next.js admin console, multi-tenant corporate hubs with per-client branded login (/corporate/{slug}/login), and a Flutter mobile app released as 'Solas Support' to sidestep a US trademark collision. The appointment-create DTO collapsed from 60 fields to 6. QR-based deep-link onboarding goes on printed posters at productions. Acuity stays as the booking integration — it does that job well — and everything else flows through the new system. HIPAA-ready data model, Zabbix health checks, auto-scaling AWS.

One Upwork admin-panel task became a 2-engineer dedicated team, two C-suite referrals, an in-person Vienna meeting, and a named Austria reference. The CTO asked for more capacity two weeks in.

The Problem

The client was a pre-revenue Vienna coworking startup preparing for legal-entity launch and an investment round, with no in-house engineering capacity for the internal tools they needed next. The first Upwork brief was small and concrete: a Stripe-billed admin panel on React + Refine, backed by Supabase. The real test was whether anyone outside the founding team could be trusted with business logic without being babysat. CTOs do not expand from one task to a dedicated team unless the first task proves judgment.

The Solution

Inside nine days, before any SOW existed, Gerald S, the CTO and co-founder, wrote: "good know that you have some experts. Infrastructure stuff isnt my strength." From there the engagement compounded. We embedded a dedicated team across two client-owned products: the core booking platform (Next.js, Express, Supabase, Stripe, React + Refine admin) and a second portfolio product (Fastify, Supabase, Next.js). Our engineers owned three wins that were never on the original brief. They shipped Stripe end-to-end. They proposed Sentry across web and API, which surfaced a Google Maps render loop driving budget overrun. They designed a guest-user search funnel that doubles as an acquisition channel for new office supply. Direct CTO access, weekly working calls, and engineer-authored API and frontend docs kept business logic and code in the same conversation.

LogicFlow didn't just build us a platform. They transformed how we think about our entire business. The discovery process alone was worth the investment.
